My horse won't bend or flex laterally
That rigid feeling through turns hits plenty of riders around Withamsville, especially on horses that haven't learned to carry themselves properly yet. The stiffness usually starts in the poll and jaw, then locks up the whole body when your horse braces against leg pressure. Start with basic flexion work from the ground, then move to simple serpentines and leg yields under saddle to teach your horse that bending actually makes movement easier, not harder.
